Holy Cross is served by two bus routes—Route 3 and Route 8. Stops are located along E. Washington and E. Michigan Streets.

The neighborhood is home to a Pacers Bikeshare hub. Located just south of King Dough along Highland Ave., this station has 17 bike slots.

Tucked away in the northeast corner of the neighborhood lies the Sturm Ave. Esplanade—a picturesque, tree-lined expanse offering summer shade, art sculptures, park benches, community grills, a gazebo and picnic table, and plenty of green space for kids and pets alike. It's also home to and namesake for Monday's on the Esplanade.

Holy Cross is home to Downtown Doggie, a full-service facility offering boarding, daycare, training, bathing, and more. They also offer a large dog park allowing pets of all size to run and play (note: fees apply).

Serving over 350 students in grades K-8, URBAN ACT features an educational model is uniquely centered around "place-based" instruction, which involves students learning in connection with their community.

Located in adjacent Cottage Home Neighborhood, Paramount Schools provides K-4 students an innovative academic approach that is focused and supportive. Paramount Cottage Home's goal is to build a better future by instilling values that make its students, graduates, parents, and staff continue to seek excellence throughout their lives.

Located on a 70+ acre campus in nearby Cottage Home Neighborhood, Arsenal Tech is one of four IPS All-Choice High Schools offering a diverse and challenging curriculum. As the largest high school in the IPS district, Tech specializes in five College and Career Options in math and science; law and public policy; career technology; construction, engineering and design; and New Tech (project-based learning).
