Be part of one of Holy Cross’s signature neighborhood events!

The Holy Cross Wine & Cheese Festival brings about 1,500 people to the Near Eastside each summer for an evening of food, music, and community. It is one of the most visible and joyful ways we come together as a neighborhood, and volunteers are what make it possible. 

When you sign up for a shift, you are helping create an experience that brings neighbors together and supports year-round projects that make Holy Cross safer, more welcoming, and more beautiful. Festival proceeds help fund community improvements, beautification efforts, public art, and other neighborhood initiatives.

Here are a few reasons why you should volunteer:

1. Work one shift, enjoy the rest of the festival

2. Get four festival tickets as a thank‑you (can be used for wine, beer, cheese, soda, and more)

3. Free volunteer t‑shirt

4. Spend time with neighbors and friends

5. Help keep the festival alive (without volunteers, this event doesn’t happen!)

6. Support year‑round Holy Cross projects (safety improvements, public art, beautification efforts, and more)

Ways to volunteer:

2. Support the experiences (Cheese Wars and Somm Experience)

3. Bartend (with a full or temporary license)
